Shaibu Ali, (Managing Director)


Shaibu Ali is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner (ACII). He holds B.A. and MA Degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and is currently studying towards his FCII. He is also a part-time Lecturer at Ghana Insurance College and the West African Insurance Institute in Gambia. He is the Vice President of the Ghana Insurance Brokers Association and a Council member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He joined the company in 2000.

Charles Kwame Cudjoe (General Manager)


He is a Chartered Accountant by profession (FCCA, ICA(GH) and holds degree in Executive Master of Administration (EMBA – Finance), Master of Arts in Marketing Strategy (MA), both from the University of Ghana Business School and Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University – UK. He also holds Diplomas in Insurance from the Chartered Institute of Insurers – UK (DipCII) and International Financial Reporting Standards (DipIFR). He joined the company in 2007 and has attended various insurance and finance-related seminars locally and internationally.

Solomon Boateng (Asst General Manager -Technical)


He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK (ACII). He has a B. A. in Social Sciences (Economics and Sociology) and joined the Company in August 2002. He has attended technical insurance courses in Motor and General Insurances and Claims organized by Continental Re Ltd. of Nigeria and has had practical attachment with Hogg Robinson Ltd in Nigeria. He has also completed a training programme in Oil and Gas insurance organized by Continental Re Ltd. and Oil Spill Management organized in Dubai by Oil Spill Management Ltd, UK.

Patience Abrahams (Mrs) (Asst General Manager – HR /Admin.)


She is a Chartered Human Resource Practitioner, Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana (CIHRM), a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Chartered Insurance Institute – UK. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, University of Ghana, Legon with an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College/Malta International Training Centre. She is also a holder of BSc Admin (Human Resource Management) from the Central University College, Accra. She joined the company in 1992 and has attended various insurance related seminars both locally and internationally.

Kukie Essel-Koomson (Asst General Manager – Business Development)


Kukie Essel-Koomson holds a BSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Kent, UK. She holds a Diploma and is studying towards acquiring an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College.

She has previously worked as a Risk and Implementation Controller and a Credit Risk Analyst in Trade Finance in the UK. Since joining KEK in 2011, she has risen through the ranks, beginning as a Senior Broking Officer and majorly focusing on KEK’s business acquisition and development strategies.

Presently, she serves as Assistant General Manager of Business Development at KEK, as she studies to become a Chartered Insurer.
