KEK Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October, the month dedicated for breast cancer awareness, we at KEK proudly joined the global movement to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer. At KEK, we are deeply committed to fostering year-round education, encouraging early detection, and taking proactive steps toward better health—not just during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On Friday 18th October, we dedicated the day to Breast Cancer Education as part of our ongoing health initiative, the “Ask the Doctor Series.” We had the honor of hosting Dr. Akua O. Nuamah from Ellimmas Health, who led an insightful session on breast cancer, covering symptoms, prevention, and care. This invaluable discussion empowered our staff with essential knowledge to better understand breast cancer.
As part of the event, free breast screenings were provided for all KEK ladies, reinforcing the importance of early detection and proactive health measures. Additionally, the session was expanded to address Cervical Cancer, offering a more comprehensive education on women’s health.
We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Akua O. Nuamah and Ellimmas Health for their time and dedication to this cause. Together, we can make a difference. We encourage everyone to get screened and help spread the message. Let’s continue the fight against breast cancer and work towards a healthier future for all!
