KEK Insurance Company demonstrated unwavering commitment to supporting underserved children by generously contributing ¢5,000 toward Hope For Little Lives “Christmas in Sekondi-Takoradi initiative” in the Western Region.
This substantial donation aimed to provide essential healthcare services to children in need within Sekondi-Takoradi, playing a crucial role in various Christmas activities. These included health education, complimentary screenings for children, free surgeries for those with medical conditions, and initiatives focused on enhancing the well-being of children in underserved communities.
Dr. Jeffrey Parker, Director of Programmes and Outreach at Hope for little lives, conveyed deep gratitude to KEK Insurance for their support, noting the significant impact this will have on countless children and families in Sekondi-Takoradi.
The outcomes of this support were remarkable, including 61 successful free surgeries benefiting 57 children, donations to Kwesimintsim Hospital, health screenings for over 400 children, a Christmas party for 1000 children, and contributions to education through the donation of 600 textbooks and storybooks to St. Peter’s/Mathias Catholic Basic School. Additional donations of clothes and water bottles reached St. Peters Catholic Church, while house-to-house evangelism in Anaji and New Takoradi demonstrated a commitment to holistic well-being.
